Hello everyone!! ^_^ How is everyone doing today?? Hope it's all goooooooooooooooood!! Anyways yeah.. usual updates from our side of the district...
This afternoon, we had the pleasure of having with us Professor Dr. Hj Ismail bin Opak for the afternoon who presented, not only the teachers but as well as parents, a motivational talk titled "Marah Tradisional ke Marah Professional" or in English "Traditional Anger to Professional Anger"... I bet many learned A LOT of new infos and some pointers that were given which we ourselves as teachers could reflect upon in the future...
Anger is something ALL teachers and parents have [no way you can deny that FACT over there!]... Be it for students or even among ourselves between friends, etc... Some are good in hiding them while others are... let's say... discreet or honest about it? hehehe... Not saying it's a bad thing... :) Well... some pointers to share here regarding anger:

Some are good in hiding them while others are... let's say... discreet or honest about it? hehehe... Not saying it's a bad thing... :) Well... some pointers to share here regarding anger:
- NEVER scold a child with inappropriate names
- A child always remembers! [You call them 'this'... they remember for life! Imagine if you call them 'that' daily!] It affects them both emotionally and physically...
- If you are angry with the child, don't scold them on the spot. Take time away to calm yourself down so you can talk rationally. [I learnt today that angry people tend to have LOW IQs!] *gulps* so refrain yourself from anger!
- Talk to them when you mind is calm, never scold [raise your voice]... take appropriate judgement and punishment...
